About
Mary Kate Steinmiller is the fashion market editor for Teen Vogue magazine.[1][2] She began at the magazine as an intern under editor Gloria Baum as a first year student at Parsons the New School of Design.[3][4]
She was once photographed by Bill Cunningham whilst wearing a feathered mini skirt and felt that she had been validated within the fashion industry as a result.[5] Mary describes her style as quite feminine and girly, yet still very Teen Vogue, with a mix of prints and interesting fabrics. [6] The Row is her favorite fashion brand, which she describes as extensive and impossible to feel like you're in a rut.[7]
Steinmiller has become a style icon, her outfits are photographed by fashion blogger Garance Dore and she has been featured on The Outnet.[8] She also hand makes her own collection of bracelets that are stocked at Henri Bendel and Charlotte Ronson in Soho, New York.[9][10][11][12]
