Launched in 2006, Alt fashion is the source for alternative and unique fashion in the UK.
Alt fashion was launched back in March 2006, the result of mammoth research following what at the time was a lack of resources for UK only alternative fashion.
Covering alternative fashion of all sorts in the country, from regular news updates, as well as city features, & articles on alternative styles. Since then the site has expanded & changed in numerous visions. Looking at not just style; but also related subjects within the scene, including galleries from events, & reviews on books of interest.
Shortly after the launch of the site, Alt fashion zine was launched in July 2006. Covering a broader & more descriptive range of content from the site; looking at companies, features, & photo shoots too.
The magazine is now published 3 times a year focusing on alternative fashion of all aspects, from couture fetish designers, to quirky t-shirt companies, and diy jewellery designers. Alt fashion aims to cover not just alternative, but also independent fashion relevant to the scene.
With a recent expansion of online content too. Alt fashion now is home to a regularly updated news blog, reviews, articles, & galleries.
