The Cannes Film Festival fashion gallery. This year, actress Cate Blanchett, who will be attending for her role in Robin Hood, will be wearing a gown by the late Alexander McQueen pre-fall 2010 collection. ^[1] Robin Hood will be opening this year's festival. ^[2] It has been rumoured that Alexander McQueen had specifically chosen the dress for Cate Blanchett to wear.

A range of designers will lend their clothes to celebrities this year. Labels worn at the Cannes Film Festival will range from Louis Vuitton to Elie Saab. ^[3] French designer Antik Batik will bring 150 gowns to the festival for celebrities to choose from. ^[4]
