Catherine Kyu Lee graduated in 2010 with BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons the New School for Design at age 21. She was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea but moved to New York City at a young age to pursue her passion for fashion design. Her senior thesis collection's main aesthetic is creating clothes that are very modern and versatile for everyday women in today's generation. Her label is all about having fun with clothes and targeted for women who are edgy and effortlessly chic. The inspiration for her collection was based on installation pieces and artworks of contemporary artists. Incorporated sharp geometric shapes and created spatial abstraction by manipulating translucent and solid fabrics.
