Codie Young, eighteen year old model from the Sunshine Coast, Australia, made her modeling debut for Ellery at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week SS2011 show. [2]
Model and designer, Summer Fisher discovered Codie when she was on her way to the movies at shopping centre, Sunshine Plaza. She has since been signed to Vivien's, Australia; Viva in Paris and London and DNA in New York. [3]
Codie was considering completing a visual arts degree after she completed school. [4][5]
The 18 year old debuted at fashion week and walked forty shows in total, including Marc Jacobs, Marni, Calvin Klein and Lanvin.[6]
Codie had most recently been compared to Kate Moss for her skinny appearance, after being featured on Topshop's website. The model declared that she is not anorexic.[7] The creative was subsequently removed from Topshop's main page due to the outrage over the choice of model.[8]
