Elizabeth Taylor was an iconic Academy Award winning actress. She has long been considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, she is well known for her trademark violet-blue eyes. 
The actress was born in London and is the second child of Francis Lenn Taylor and Sara Viola Warmbrodt. Elizabeth was born with US nationality, both of her parents originated from Kansas, USA. Her mother was an actress, however retired in 1926 when she and Elizabeth's father married.
At age three the family moved back to the USA after World War 2 broke out and settled in Los Angeles, California. Elizabeth was in her first movie at the age of 9. Her first Academy Award was for Butterfield 8 and then again for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
In terms of fashion, Elizabeth was perhaps best known for her love of jewelry. Over the years she had collected a number of well known pieces. The two most notable pieces are, the 33.19 carat Krupp Diamond and the 69.42 carat pear-shaped Taylor-Burton diamond. In 2005 she partnered with Mirabelle Luxury Concepts to form the House of Taylor Jewelry line.
She has also launched a line of perfumes, "Passion", "White Diamonds" and "Black Pearls".
