Hailee Steinfeld is an American actress, born on December 11, 1996.[2] She is best known for her breakthrough role as Mattie Ross in True Grit.[3] She was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2011 [4][5]and a Best Supporting Actress SAG award. [6][7]
Although she is only fourteen, Hailee is quickly becoming a style icon, she is often dressed in age-appropriate gowns from the likes of Marchesa, Stella McCartney, Prada and Prabal Gurung.[8]
It was announced in April 2011, that Italian fashion house Miu Miu had secured Hailee for an upcoming print advertising campaign. [9] She will serve as the face of Miu Miu's Fall-Winter 2011 campaign, and attend numerous functions for the brand.[10] Previous 'faces' for the comapny have included Katie Holmes, Kirsten Dunst and Lindsay Lohan.[11]
Her status as a burgeoning style icon is further cemented in her recent photoshoot for US Vogue magazine. [12]
