Are you a designer? Or do you love any particular designers? Wikifashion would love you to create a page for them. Follow this simple guide:

Search for the designer that you would like to create a page for by typing their name into the search box, located in the left toolbar. If the designer page does not already exist, there will be an orange link to create a page. If the designer has the same name as their brand, it is a good idea to create the page with the word designer in brackets next to their name. For example, if you wanted to create a page for Marc Jacobs, the designer- simple type "Marc Jacobs (designer)" to create his profile page. Use the following as a guide to creating a page:

 • Template

Copy and paste this template into your page:

Within your template, please enter the name of the designer, birthplace, date and occupation. This is a good place to create an link to their brand or label page. In the example above, Alannah Hill's occupation links directly to her label's page.

In order to include an image in the template, you must login and press upload file located on the left toolbar. Select the file you want to upload and include a reference in the box below the selected file. Once the file has been uploaded, replace 'designerpicture.jpg' with the file name of the image you just uploaded.

 • Headings
Once your template is filled in at the top of the page, you can start to create page sections. It is recommended that you include an about heading, to include one copy the following and enter it below your template:
==About==

In order to create another heading simply use the same markup as above:

==Heading2==

To create subheadings, copy the following onto your page;

===Subheading1===
====Subheading2====

When creating headings and subheadings, a table of contents will automatically appear at the top of your page.

For designer pages you can make use of headings such as "brands", "education" and create galleries.

In order to create a gallery simply copy the following under the relevant heading:

<gallery widths="150px" heights="200px" perrow="5">

image:

image:

image:

</gallery>

There are also options that appear in your editing toolbox for bolding and italicising words.

 • Category

It is very important that a category is included at the bottom of the page. Simply copy the following and paste at the bottom of your page.

For a designer you can also list the country that they are from. For example, Alannah Hill (designer) page has the category:
