Hipster Musings is a style and personal interest blog run by Isabel B.S., who is currently an undergrad student in Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo. Her interests run towards the 'dorky indie girl' end of the spectrum, often wearing Dr. Martens boots, colourful patterned leggings and anything/everything that sparkles. Currently, she is going through an aesthetic dark period deemed 'Goth Jams 2010', which involves romantic black lace, ruffles and draped fabric. Her favourite animal is grizzly bears, and she likes to dance around listening to the Smiths. Favourite designers = Vivienne Westwood, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Marc Jacobs and Yohji Yamamoto.
Non-fashion related academic interests include; environmental communications, environmental justice and feminist philosophy.
