Honeybee in the City (also known as Little Chief Honeybee) is a lifestyle blog written by Kaelah Beauregarde created in May 2009. Little Chief Honeybee was started by Kaelah as a way to share her New York City adventures with family and friends as she moved to the Big Apple by herself to be the art intern at BUST magazine. Kaelah quickly picked the blog back up after relocating to Tennessee once more and slowly began to build a readership. Since the blog's inception, Kaelah has lived in NYC once more, again as a BUST intern, and has broadened her writing style and features tremendously. The blog is home to outfit photos, wishlists, Polyvore creations, mixtapes and inspiration. Kaelah's goal with the blog is to create a space that is inviting and encouraging of everyone. Spreading positivity and self-love, Kaelah hopes to make everyone feel beautiful in their own skin.
Little Chief Honeybee has several weekly features that have grown in popularity such as Mixtape Monday and Wedding Wednesday. Kaelah spotlights an artist or designer every Sunday for the Sunday Spotlight in hopes of spreading awareness about independent people and their projects.
Kaelah lives in middle Tennessee where she is a last-semester senior at O'More College of Design (Franklin). She will be graduating in December with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications (Graphic Design). When she is not slaving over a computer blogging or designing her heart out, she can be found frequenting the Bark Park with her two bullies, Georgia Sue (English Bulldog) and Pipkin LaRue (French Bulldog) and boyfriend, Mike. Kaelah has been a bartender for the past 4 and a half years, but practices a 100% sober lifestyle. She is a heavily tattooed redhead with a heart of gold. She dresses as though every day is a tea party and her life goal is to free dive with a Great White Shark.
