Kaya Scodelario, born Kaya Rose Humprey, was born in London, UK and plays the character Effy in tv show Skins.[2][3] Kaya has become a style icon as a result of the success of her character. [4] [5] Kaya won the role of Effie after auditioning at the age of 14 years old. It was her first acting audition.[6] [7]
She is the only character to have been a part of the first cast and the second, which spanned three years. [8] Effie Stonem was the main character throughout the third series. The character was often thought of as extremely dark, whilst being provocative and reserved. [9]
Kaya has since secured roles in the movies, Moon and Clash of the Titans. She also has the lead role in the upcoming Wuthering Heights.[10]
The young actress is currently dating fellow actor, Elliot Tittensor. [11][12] [13] She has also joined the elite modelling agency, Models 1 in London. [14] She has since appeared on magazine covers and in Asos' April 2010 look book. [15]
