Kym Ellery is the designer behind the Australian label Ellery. [1] The label was launched in Sydney in 2007. [2] The label came about after Trever Stones, a stylist at Vogue photographed a pair of glitter tights that Kym created.[3]
Ellery was raised in Perth where she studied Fashion Design and Production [4] before moving to London to study at Central Saint Martins College[5] and then back to Sydney with her label Ellery.[6] The label has since collaborated with the chain store Sportsgirl. [7]
Prior to starting her label, Kym worked at Russh magazine as their Market Director.[8][9]
