In the December of 2007, British student Rachel Phipps founded what was only intended to be a fashion blog with multiple writers, but morphed into Inside Out Magazine.
The first cover, February 2008 with famous alternative model Audrey Kitching modeling for New York Couture saw the birth of something new, something exciting with full colour layouts, breathtaking photography and unique content.
Others writers joined the team, and they started their first regular column: Fashion Editor Amy Claire Thompson's regular "Ask Amy" slot, which was swiftly followed by model Loriel Andre'a's "Fashion Forward" column, and they changed the name to Lipstick Royalty Magazine. They continued to grow and August 2009 saw the launch of their new .pdf download format with exciting new columns, features and writers.
The team behind Lipstick Royalty decided to call it quits in December of 2009, officially closing the magazine in January 2010. However they promise one more haul of content on the magazines website before they say goodbye.
