Lykke Li is a 25 year old Swedish[1] singer.[2] Her personal style is very distinct, it often includes layering of slouchy tops, blazers, jackets and pendant necklaces. Her color palette always sways towards black with a hint of cream and gray.[3] The style icon[4] has said that she doesn't like to mix colors as she prefers a "simple" look.[5]
The minimalist designs she prefers are far from boring, often with a bare back, cut out, or sans pants.[6] To even out the slouchy masculine[7] tops, Lykke pairs them with denim cut offs and slinky maxi skirts.
When asked if she was a heels of flats girl, Lykke said that she'll either wear tiny or huge shoes. No "inbetweenie" shoes, her favorites are a pair of Acne heels, which she has been known to take off at the end of the evening and walk home barefoot.[8]
Her status as a style icon is rising, after being voted "Best Dressed" by Swedish Elle in 2009.[9][10]
