Michael Barnaart van Bergen (1983) is an upcoming Dutch fashion designer. In 2008 he showed his first collection at Amsterdam International Fashion Week. He presented a couture collection made of paper, inspired by the perishableness of fashion, which immediately granted him the status of a highly promising talent. Ever since he has shown new collections twice a year. Michael Barnaart van Bergen regularly designs red carpet dresses for Dutch musical actresses.
