Style: I like a feminine, beautiful aesthetic, thrown together with one or two new trends. Melding the classic and flattering with the new and bold.
Why: I started the blog as an outlet for my over-the-top girliness–some of which I flaunted in real life, some of which I did not. I just love nice things, beautiful things, well made things. I love things that flatter a woman’s body. And I love celebrating femininity – and I think it’s something every girl can appreciate! So, what began as a collection of random girly objects found on the web, in the form of a blog, evolved into a fashion-meets-personal-style blog, complete with (gulp!) outfit posts.
As a med student, I can’t post my outfit every day (and, let’s be real, 4/7 outfits of the week are NOT worth posting–not even for laughs!). But I do try to pass along fashion, beauty, and shopping tips, and I like to distill the latest trends into the everyday wearable (those are the little collage-style posts you’ll see around PSS).
I live in Texas with my wonderful, wonderful boyfriend whom I abbreviate as “HB” for privacy. He’s simply the best person I’ve ever known, and we look forward to spending the rest of our lives together. He is probably already aware of the fact that I intend to post my life in pictures on PSS! He is my partner-in-crime, and my photographer. I take care of everything else, including the outfit post location, the post processing & editing, etc!

Dislikes: Laundry, inflated egos, bugs
Likes: Moleskine journals, the smell of leather and glossy magazines (the glossier the better), lavender & vanilla scented candles, Moroccanoil, hand sanitizer (I’m a stickler), pants > skirts, high heels
Online vs. In-Store: Definitely online, but if I had all the time in the world I'd shop in person. I like to touch fabrics before I buy them. I’m a busy medical student so online shopping is my best friend.
