About Ranol*
Ranol* is a personal fashion/industrial design blog and it is created and run by Alice Giourmetaki whose likes to design everything -well ok not everything- with a very special material plexiglas. In this blog you will find my latest creations made of acrylic and using different methods which I will post during the proccess of every item I make. Plexiglas is my favorite material but it is not the only one that you will see ;)
About the Designer
Alice Giourmetaki is a graduate in Interior & Industrial Design of the AKTO Art & Design Institution in Greece and she has Bachelor Degree from Middlesex University in Industrial Design 2004. She is a professional Interior & Industrial designer and she have worked with few Interior Designers office's in Greece for creating Interior Houses, Hotels and Boats. During attendance she was working in her family business which is established since 1997 in Koropi, Athens-Greece. Ranol is a company with many years of experience sinze 1980 started by her father.Ranol is specialized in special constructions with several materials -including plexiglas- bronze, stainless steel, steel. The working proccess is made with high-tech machines and automatic ways, such as, laser machines, cnc lathe machines, plasma cutters, etc.
