About

A self-confessed social misfit and inspired madman, Alicia Hannah Naomi is a Melbourne-based jewellery designer and style blogger. A chronicle of fashion, shopping and Alicia’s ever-evolving wardrobe, her blog Sea Of Ghosts is a celebration of all things dark and whimsical that influence her personal style and jewellery designs.

A highly conceptual artist, Alicia harnesses the inspirations presented in her blog, as well as drawing from her love of heavy and progressive rock music, her fascination by science and quantum mechanics and her appreciation for industrial, deconstructed fashions in her design work. She counts designers such as Rick Owens, Yohji Yamamoto, Ann Demeulemeester and Alexander Wang as her aesthetic design icons.

Chronicling since 2008, Alicia’s own personal style and design evolution has settled in kindred to the traditional Japanese wabi sabi and shibui aesthetics of asymmetry, minimalism, organic imperfection, with a subtle femininity and lots of black.
