About
Stacey Mckenzie's dream of becoming a model began when her sister came to visit, and handed her a fashion magazine she got from the airport. Stacey eagerly flipped through the pages, and marveled at the models and a famous singer (Madonna) wearing an outfit by Jean Paul Gautier. Right then and there, she new she wanted to eat, sleep, and breath fashion, and moved to Canada with her mother in hopes of perusing her dream. After interviewing with various Canadian model agencies, and being rejected, Stacie decided to expand her search by traveling to New York by greyhound bus. New York proved to be a challenge as well, with almost every agency giving her the same answer "NO". She decided to finish high school and graduate, then she set her sights on Paris France. Paris instantly took a liking to Stacie and within the first visit, she was signed to Elite Model Management after being spotted by Karen Lee an agent. After various trials and tribulations, she managed to book a show with Jean Paul Gautier who described her as "Belle". Since then she's done runway shows with well known designers. she's also appeared in the movie "The Fifth Element" and was a judge on Canada's Top Model. She is constantly busy with projects and even has a workshop called "Walk This Way" to help inspire and teach young girls who hope to acheive success in the modeling industry like she has.
