The Zimmermann Spring Summer 2010 collection showcased at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week on the 2nd day of the festival. [1] The collection was Zimmermann's 13th show at RAFW. [2] Zimmermann Spring Summer 2010-11 "Vanishing Point" [3] showcased black and white geometric prints set against models with vampish black lips. [4]
Nicky Zimmermann intended for the collection portray an upbeat and fresh mood, with clean and ordered pieces. [5] Zimmermann "Vanishing Point" featured linear prints, perspective lines combined with mono toned floral prints on white bases. [6] The collection also featured Zimmermann's signature frills, drapey dresses, column shifts [7] and high waisted bikinis in pastel colours, from mauve, peach, aqua, yellow and violet shades. [8]
The Zimmermann summer collection was a sophisticated collection with billowing silk fabrics and soft floral separates. [9] The collection has been touted as sophisticated resort wear with its ethereal dresses, sleeveless shirts and bandeau tops. [10]
